Overview

When claiming the Arkansas Early Childhood Program Credit, the certification number must be obtained from a childcare facility approved by the Arkansas Department of Education.

Reporting the Early Childhood Program Certification Number

If you have a child who participates in the Early Childhood Program enter the certificate number from the approved childcare facility. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the State taxes section.
  2. Select I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  3. In the drop list, select Arkansas.
  4. Select the General tab.
  5. Select the AR – Credits and Payments – Pg 2 screen to add and open the form.
  6. Enter the Early Childhood Program Certification Number for the approved childcare facility in the space provided.
  7. Click Save to apply changes.
