Overview

The Georgia Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Credit is a state income available to Georgia taxpayers who contribute to approved Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs). These contributions are used to fund scholarships for eligible students attending private K–12 schools in Georgia.

Add Georgia Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Credit

To add the Georgia Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Credit:

  1. Go to State Taxes.
  2. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  3. Click Georgia to expand the Forms listing.
  4. Click on the Credit tab.
  5. Select Qualified Education Expense Credit to add and open the form.
  6. At the top of the form, review and select any of the three applicable check boxes based on your situation.
  7. To add your CR4 Credit Entry for the Education Expense Credit, click the blue highlighted link just above the Save button.
  8. Enter your information and click Save.
