Overview
Screen Indiana General Information collects basic residency and work information to determine how your Indiana return is prepared.
Select I want to see the uncommon situations to reveal additional fields that apply to a smaller group of filers.
These include:
- Nonresident or Reciprocal Form
- Combat Zone Extension
- Out-of-State Income
- Married Filing Jointly Innocent Spouse Relief
- ITIN Information
- IT-40RNR or IT-40PNR Filers
How to Access This Screen
- Click on the State Taxes section on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click the link “I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.”
- Use the drop list to select Indiana.
- Under the General tab, select IN – General Information Screen.
- Complete the screen. To access uncommon situations, click I want to see the uncommon situations at the bottom of the screen
- Click Save.
