Overview

Residents and businesses in Lexington–Fayette Urban County (LFUCG) may be eligible for refunds under two contexts:

• Employee Refunds – Occupational license fee improperly withheld on outside-the-county work.
• Developer/Property Owner Refunds – Developer “exactions” (impact fees) unexpended within six years.

Add Lexington-Fayette Urban County – Application for Refund

To add the Lexington-Fayette Urban County – Application for Refund:

1. Go to the State taxes section.
2. Select I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
3. In the drop list, select Kentucky.
4. Select the City tab.
5. Select Lexington Fayette Urban County – Application for Refund to add and open the form.
6. Complete the form with your applicable information.
7. Click Save to apply changes.
