Overview
Most information for your Colorado return is pulled from your federal entries. However, some state-specific fields may require updates or overrides. These changes can be made on the CO – 104 Individual Return – Misc, Additions, Subtractions screen.
How to Add the Screen
To access this screen:
- Go to the State Taxes section.
- Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
- Select Colorado from the dropdown.
- Under the General tab, select 104 Individual Return – Misc, Additions, Subtractions.
Information Available on This Screen
You can enter the following items on this screen:
- Colorado account number
- “Abroad on due date” indicator
- State sales tax refund eligibility
- Sharing of DR 0104EE info with health departments
- Adjustments to income (e.g., ABLE distributions, municipal bond interest)
- Prepayment adjustments, tax credits, estimated carryforwards
- Refunds and direct deposit indicators
- Payment and penalty computation overrides
