Overview

Most information for your Colorado return is pulled from your federal entries. However, some state-specific fields may require updates or overrides. These changes can be made on the CO – 104 Individual Return – Misc, Additions, Subtractions screen.

How to Add the Screen

To access this screen:

  1. Go to the State Taxes section.
  2. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  3. Select Colorado from the dropdown.
  4. Under the General tab, select 104 Individual Return – Misc, Additions, Subtractions.

Information Available on This Screen

You can enter the following items on this screen:

  • Colorado account number
  • “Abroad on due date” indicator
  • State sales tax eligibility
  • Sharing of DR 0104EE info with health departments
  • Adjustments to income (e.g., ABLE distributions, municipal bond interest)
  • Prepayment adjustments, tax credits, estimated carryforwards
  • Refunds and direct deposit indicators
  • Payment and penalty computation overrides
