General Information
Use this screen to claim a refund on a DC return that is due to a deceased taxpayer. This entry corresponds to District of Columbia Form FR-147.
Some of the information required on this screen pulls from federal Form 1310.
How to Enter the FR-147 Information
1. Go to the State Taxes section on the left-hand side.
2. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
3. Select the District of Columbia dropdown menu.
4. Click the Other tab.
5. Select FR-147 – Claiming Refund Due a Deceased Taxpayer.
6. Fill out the applicable data on the screen.
7. Click Save.
What Is Reported on This Screen
Statement of Claimant
- Relationship to the deceased (Spouse, Administrator, Executor, or Other)
- If someone other than the deceased paid the 2024 income tax:
- Name
- Relationship
- Claimant’s SSN
- Telephone Number
