1099-K data should be entered on screen 1099-K only if the state requires the source document. The only data entered on this screen that flows to the state return is State tax withheld; no data flows to the federal return.
To add this form:
- Go to Federal Taxes
- Click Review.
- Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
- Enter 1099K in the search box and add 1099-K – Payment Card and Third-Party Network Transactions.
- Enter your information and click Save.
Form 1099-K is issued for taxpayers who receive more than $20,000 in payments over more than 200 transactions from a single qualifying third-party payor. These payments can be entered on the applicable federal schedule as an undifferentiated part of gross receipts:
- Schedule C (business income)
- Schedule E (rental income)
- Schedule F (farm-related income)
