Form 4547 is used to make the election to establish an initial Trump Account for an eligible child.
The IRS has indicated that additional regulations and guidance related to Form 4547 are forthcoming. We plan to support Form 4547 on our website for Tax Year 2025 and will update the program as needed once the IRS releases further clarification.
Once Form 4547 is available on our website:
- It will be incorporated into the interview questions
- A direct entry screen will be provided for data entry
We anticipate Form 4547 becoming available in the program in the spring.
