Overview

Landowners and sub-lessors who do not materially participate in the operation or management of the farming activity (as defined for self-employment tax purposes) should use Form 4835 to report farm rental income derived from crop or livestock production by a tenant.

Add Form 4835

To add the Form 4835:

1. Go to Federal Taxes.
2. Click Review.
3. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
4. Enter Form 4835 in the search box and click on Form 4835 – Farm Rental Income to add and open the form.
5. Enter your information and click Save.
