IL Schedule NR – Nonresident and Part-Year Resident Computation

This screen is used to determine your Illinois residency status for tax purposes.

How to Add These Screens

  1. Click on the State Taxes section on the left-hand side of the screen
  2. Click the link I‘d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  3. Choose Illinois from the dropdown
    • From the General tab:
      • Click IL – Schedule NR: Nonresident and Part-Year Resident Computation
      • Click IL – Other State Income
    • From the Credits tab:
      • Click IL – Schedule M: Other Additions
      • Click IL – Schedule CR: Tax Paid to Other States Credit
  4. Enter the applicable details for each screen.
  5. Click Save
