Adding to Return

You will be asked if you wish to add Protection Plus to your account during the final filing process, before the billing screen.

What it Does

Audit Assistance

Protection Plus helps taxpayers, in the event the IRS or State taxing authority contacts them about their returns. As part of this service, Protection Plus will:

  • Interact with the IRS on your behalf
  • Develop a plan and prepare documents
  • Represent you before the IRS

ID Theft Restoration

Additionally, Protection Plus offers complete restoration services in the event of an identity theft incident, including:

  • Work with credit reporting agencies
  • Providing 6 months of daily credit monitoring after an incident

Cancel Service

If you request a cancellation of Protection Plus audit protection service within 30 days of purchase, your purchase price will be fully refunded.

Pay with e-Collect

Yes, if you qualify to pay for your return using your through the e-Collect service, you are able to add Protection Plus as part of your fee.
