Overview

Use Form 8606 to report:

  • Nondeductible contributions made to traditional IRAs.
  • Distributions from traditional, SEP, or SIMPLE IRAs, if you have ever made non-deductible contributions to traditional IRAs.
  • Conversions from traditional, SEP, or SIMPLE IRAs to Roth IRAs.
  • Distributions from Roth IRAs.

Add Form 8606 – Traditional IRA Contributions – Part I

To add the Form 8606:

  1. Go to Federal Taxes.
  2. Click Review.
  3. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  4. Enter Form 8606 in the search box and click on Form 8606 – Traditional IRA Contributions – Part I to add and open the form.
  5. Enter your information and click Save.

Add Form 8606 – IRA Contributions – Part II and Part III (ROTH)

To add the Form 8606:

  1. Go to Federal Taxes.
  2. Click Review.
  3. Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  4. Enter Form 8606 in the search box and click on Form 8606 – IRA Contributions – Part II and Part III (ROTH) to add and open the form.
  5. Enter your information and click Save.
