Overview
Use Form 8606 to report:
- Nondeductible contributions made to traditional IRAs.
- Distributions from traditional, SEP, or SIMPLE IRAs, if you have ever made non-deductible contributions to traditional IRAs.
- Conversions from traditional, SEP, or SIMPLE IRAs to Roth IRAs.
- Distributions from Roth IRAs.
Add Form 8606 – Traditional IRA Contributions – Part I
To add the Form 8606:
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Click Review.
- Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
- Enter Form 8606 in the search box and click on Form 8606 – Traditional IRA Contributions – Part I to add and open the form.
- Enter your information and click Save.
Add Form 8606 – IRA Contributions – Part II and Part III (ROTH)
To add the Form 8606:
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Click Review.
- Click I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
- Enter Form 8606 in the search box and click on Form 8606 – IRA Contributions – Part II and Part III (ROTH) to add and open the form.
- Enter your information and click Save.
