Overview

Form 3814 is used to claim a for the donation of fresh fruits, vegetables, or other eligible items to a California food bank.

This credit is nonrefundable, but any unused portion may be carried forward for up to seven years.

To be eligible, the credit must be claimed on a timely filed original return.

Add Form 3814

To add the Form 3814:

  1. Go to the State taxes section.
  2. Select I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
  3. In the drop list, select California.
  4. Select the Credits tab.
  5. Select 3814 – New Donated Fresh Fruits or Vegetables Credit to add and open the form.
  6. Complete Part 1 and 2 the form with your applicable information.
  7. Click Save to apply changes
