Overview

If you made contributions to the Arkansas Arts and Literary Council, or if you need to adjust contribution amounts that were claimed on the Federal return but differ for Arkansas state purposes, these adjustments may be made within the Arkansas data entry section. The contributions should be reported on Form AR3 – Itemized Deduction Schedule for the applicable tax year.

Reporting Itemized Deduction Contributions

To report on the Art and Literary contribution or adjust itemized deduction contributions for Arkansas during the year, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the State taxes section.
2. Select I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form.
3. In the drop list, select Arkansas.
4. Select the General tab.
5. Select the AR3 – Itemized Deduction Schedule screen to add and open the form.
6. Enter the amount under Contributions in the applicable field.
7. Click Save to apply changes.
