HI – Schedule X – Dependent Care Information

General Information 

The HI – Schedule X – Care Information screen is used to provide additional required details about a qualifying dependent for Hawaii’s child and dependent care expense credit. 
 
This screen only becomes active after a dependent has been added in the Federal Taxes section. 

How to Add 

  1. Make sure the dependent has already been added under the Federal Taxes > Dependents section. 
  2. Click on the State Taxes section on the left-hand side of the screen. 
  3. Click the link I’d like to see the forms I’ve filled out or search for a form. 
  4. Click on the dropdown menu for Hawaii. 
  5. Select the Credits tab. 
  6. Click on HI – Schedule X – Dependent Care Information to open the screen. 
  7. Select the dependent and their grade. 
  8. Click Save.
